Outlook password protect

Thanks dderolph. I actualy found this solution but didn't try it because I thought it prevents others from accessing the inbox folder, when in fact asks for a password the moment you open outlook.

No, if your letting people have access to your pst, they can get to your mail. Your account password is your protection, not some addon to Outlook unless it plugs and and actually encypts the pst

Quoted for truth. A secure user account password is your friend here. You can also additional encrypt your mail (%systemdrive%\documents and settings\%username%\local settings\application data\Microsoft\outlook). If you do encryption, please make sure you back up your key (cipher /x😛ath).

It's an exchange acount and a friend of mine asked me if he can do something to prevent others to use his acount. Outlook was already configured so he doesn't know more about it and I told him he should talk with the system administrator.
