Outlook kicking back every email i try to send

This is what it says
on 1/24/2006 1:41 AM
503 valid RCPT command must precede DATA

I have no idea what this means but it wont work for any accounts set up in outlook 2003
What am i doing wrong here.... it seemed to work before.
