Outlook in Same Window

Before I reformatted last week, I had an Outlook shortcut in my quick launch that always opened the same Outlook window (I could open it one time, then click on it again to restore the window, not open another instance of it). However, now, it opens a new instance every time. Anyone know how to fix this?

 
Use the /recycle switch. Open the properties of your shortcut and under Target, add "/recycle" to the end.

e.g. "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\OUTLOOK.EXE" /recycle
