Outlook Hijacked?

I have AdAware pro ver 6 but I still get messages occasionally that say unable to deliver message and it list like 6 email address that I have never heard of. This makes me suspect that Outlook has been hijacked but AdAware isnt finding anything, any ideas on how to find the culprit? BTW Nortons doesnt find jack either.

Have you recently run a virus scan? After you do those things listed by Schadenfroh in joinT's recommendation, run a virus scan.

It's also possible that somebody else has a virus, and their virus put your email address as the sender...so when the email failed (i.e. virus scanning on the destination server), it bounced a message back to you even though you never sent the email. Ah, the perils of SMTP.

Ya, seems that its coming from somewhere else and just using me as the from person. Cant really do anything about that ;(
