When my boss prints out her emails, sometimes the jpegs are so large that at 100%, they will print out over 10 pages. anyone know of a workaround whereby the jpegs can be automatically resized to print within the bounds of the page? she has an annoying habit of printing out emails that are 50 pages, when it should have taken just a couple :| i can't tell her to "save to HD first, then print"... she can't handle that~ any suggestions?

btw: you know how outlook express displays the jpeg attachments inline? how do i enable that option in outlook 2003?

I read this thread a few days ago, and I use Outlook 2003 myself. But I do not know the answer to your question :(. I've never tried printing jpegs. I glanced through the print option just a second ago, and didn't really see anything that I thought could help you.

Good luck.

Been an OE user for years, and I believe there's no way to reduce the size of a jpeg inside OE. Do the .jpegs have to always be printed when her messages are printed? If not, one option might be to copy the message to Word and print it from Word. When I copy a message with a .jpeg to Word, the image does not carry over during the Copy/Paste procedure.

Doh. Seems kinda silly when she prints these huge jpegs that come out over 20 pages...

Believe it or not, Copy/Paste would be too technically challenging for this boss of mine... !!

Can she save the attachment and then print it?

Or is that too in depth too?

Do you have the option to swtich from O.E. to something else?
