Outlook Express v6 Antics

On my Win 98 machine I saved two *.dbx folders, a couple months ago rfom my Outlook Express (version 6).

I would not like to retrieve a few messages from those two folders, but I can't seem to get them loaded so that OE recognizes them.

I tried copying the (dbx) folders into the location the rest of the dbx folders are placed, but when I then open OE the folders do not show up in the Inbox list.

I tried opening them from OE. I tried doing an 'Open With'......nothing seems to work.

I also tried importing but that has not seemed to work at all either.

Anyone know how to do this?

I did try DBXtract a week ago or so to recover deleted folders, but it flopped big time. So I may try it again to restore some other dbx files.
