Folks, This one has got me wondering. I use Outlook Express for my default e-mail and every couple of days or so I can't log in and it's because my Servers settings keep changing. I'm on cable and instead of my incoming mail remaining at "POP-server.xx.xx.com" they keep changing to "localhost" and my username keeps getting modified with a "/server.xx.xx.com" Any idea why this is happening? It's not that big of a deal but it is getting rather annoying. Any help would definitely be appreciated. Thanks folks.

This is something that happens when your antivirus program is set to scan your emails. Try disabling email scanning and see if the problem goes away.

Yea, thats not Outlook that is another program trying to get Outlook to send/receive thru a local proxy. Nav 2000/2001 worked this way (its transparent so there is no configuration changes required in NAV 2002). A good number of other AV vendors and local anti-spam products also did the local proxy trick, which do you have installed?
