Outlook Express importing question

I have had the habit of checking my personal email at work through Outlook Express as well as at home. I know where the .dbx files are stored. Basically I want to keep some of the SENT ITEMS emails that I have sent from work. I was wondering if there is a way to import them to my home OE6 without writing over the other .dbx? or perhaps could i empty my SENT ITEMS at home so i wouldnt have to worry about overwriting?

Take the original .dbx files and copy a second copy of them to another folder for safekeeping. Delete all messages you don't want to keep from OE. Then export them and import into the OE you want them moved to.

Then take the safe .dbx files you made first, and put them back in the default OE folder so your entire folders will be back.

In the future, you can set your office machine to pick up mail without deleting it from the server. Then you can pick up a second copy from home and it will be deleted from the server.
