Outlook Express and export/import address book?

This is getting out of control. I've have never successfully exported and then imported an address book out of OE6. I've tried the way they said in program and even moved the .wab file over myself and I still can't see my address book in the new installation on my new computer. Sometimes when you export, it doesn't even let you put it somewhere. Can someone please give me a step-by-step process to do this successfully? Thank you.

In OE6, are you using File->Export->Address Book or Tools->Address Book? Since you're getting a .wab file, it sounds like you're using the Address Book application. Are you using that for both export and import? Are you getting any error messages? Maybe there's something wrong with your address book.

Using Address Book, you export to a .wab file, copy the .wab file to somewhere on your new computer, and import the .wab file with Address Book. If that doesn't work, something else is the problem. Are both systems fully patched and using IE/OE6?

The wab importing or copying same file name didn't work, but I got it to work with the csv file and importing Other Address Book. Thanks, problem solved!
