I live in houston and made it thru thr storm. We are trying to get online. my computer is ok but my husband's notebook windows 98 and we are on the same network. he can get internet exployer on the dsl but when you open up outlook express it goes to a dial up page. and he mail won't down load. we have tried to check everything was the sasme and still can't get it to work. any ideas? zippimom
 
Check the network cable connection. If Outlook Express is configured like I think it is, the problem lies with either your cable or hub on the laptop. Check that first.
 
Sounds like someone may have managed to change the settings in the Connections tab of the Internet Options (look in the Control Panel).
