Outlook error

My boss asked me to look into if I know what is wrong with a clients computer. So I decided to ask here to see if anyone has a quick answer before I go delving into the realm of microsofts help files.:| Anyway here is the note I got about the problem: This is the error that appears in Outlook, I beleive its 2000 "Active X Control may be keeping page from showing correctly and that he may need to change security settings"

Anyone know what to do about that or what I settings need to be changed? Thanks.

Pretty vague, might as well just check the security settings in internet explorer (I don't recall ever seeing any Outlook security settings).

Thats exactly what I was talking about :p the internet explorer security settings..

in outlook 2000, go to tools and click options. go to the security tab, under secure content, set zone to internet. click the zone settings button and set it to default level. if you still get the error message, the email message may have some kind of virus attached to it. here is a link to learn more about active x and preventing virus infection:
