Outlook disconnects and won't accept my password

At work, we use Outlook and Microsoft exchange and Windows XP SP3.

Every few days, Outlook suddenly asks for my password and when I enter it, it won't accept it. It then pops up the dialog again and still refuses to accept my password. It won't accept my password on webmail either. This happens a little bit for other people here too, but not as much as me. If I restart my PC, I think it usually comes right but I'm not sure if it always comes right from restarting.

Any ideas what can cause this or how to find out?
 
There is a lot of things that can cause this... Domain issues, exchange server config, connectivity, misconfigured DNS / workstations / Domain Policy etc etc. I would send you over to your IT group honestly.
 
I have never figured out the cause, but in my case, shutting the application down and restarting it always resolves it (as long as the server is up and my network connection is good)
