I don't want any of my emails to go out unless the font is exactly as I want it (Size 10) - maybe a dialogue box to pop up asking a question ("You have font size more than 10. Do you really want to send - Y / N / cancel") . Is that even feasible?

The real reason for this is funny - my compose window displays all fonts a couple of sizes smaller than what they should. Dunno why. After sending, when I see the sent-mail, or read any received emails, they display normally. Problem is, a decently nice size-10 font is almost unreadable while typing; so I end up increasing the size to 14/15 or something while typing, with the intention of dropping back to 10 before hitting the send button. But, yeah - you guessed it : at times I forget, and then my colleagues want to know why I'm 'yelling' in my emails.

So any ideas to manage either of my above problems?

And yes, I have already considered typing up all my emails on vim first and copy-pasting onto outlook...

Why don't you just set defaults?
tools>options>
Mail format>stationary and fonts

This.

Or, try holding CTRL and scrolling your mouse wheel.

Well, not only did you solve my problem, but also diagnosed why I had the problem in the first place! Looks like I might have inadvertantly used the CTRL+Mouse-wheel to zoom out, and never realized it. Funnily, MS makes all the zoom-view changes persistent, on all future messages I compose, reply to, or forward!

Now I am back to normal zoom, and don't need to worry about all that I asked for!

<Neov, paldun - I really didn't want to pin down the fonts, but to stop myself from sending out emails at ridiculously large font. >

Talk about generating problems, and trying to fix it in the most roundabout manner  !

Thanks, y'all!
