Outlook calendar no longer gives popups for meetings

using Outlook 2003. Calendar reminder popups used to work just fine.

I have the 15 minute reminder set - what am i not seeing?

Is your system clock set correctly?

yes.. my appointments show up in calendar at the correct dates/times - just no popups.

I know that this probably is NOT it... but at work whenever this happens I always just close outlook and restart. That typically does the trick for me.
