outlook being very laggy after this............

My nephew was over the other day and installed MSN Messenger 5.0 on my system, I have removed it all but now Outlook takes forever to launch. Any ideas or suggestions on how to improve it. Outlook is even very laggy once i get into the program. BTW, it's outlook 6

Outlook is looking for the Messenger 5 program you removed. Even after uninstalling a program parts of it are still in the Registry and some files and folders are usually left behind also. Those files and folders should be removed.

Norton System Works 2003's WinDoctor program can help you to clean out your regitstry. I use it and at times it gets rid of a Registry entry that is still looking for a program that was uninstalled. NSW WinDoctor can fix that problem for you. If you manually clean your Registry you can miss an entry or two that still looks for an uninstalled or removed program.
