Outlook and POP Account Problem

I'm have a problem syncing Outlook 2002 to my POP email accounts from my service provider and Gmail. I double checked that all the settings are correct, but Outlook fails the last task of sending a test email (in test account settings). The only firewall I have running is from SP2, which I disabled with no luck.

Any ideas?

In your account settings, do you have your full e-mail addy in the "user name" space?

I found the issue, I needed to upgrade Office XP to SP3.
