I dont think this could be done on the exchange server because if you work off a public folder, everyone could potentially have the same highlight or something.

So i'm looking for a way to highlight keywords in the subject line in the email inbox view so you can basically screen the emails faster.

Not sure if anyone has done this before or recommend something.

If you do, let me know.. thanks..

I don't know of an Add-In to highlight words. If you have at least Outlook 2007 (I don't think 2003 had this option), you can create a rule using the Rules and Alerts wizard. Apply the rule for any message that arrives with your Keyword in the subject, and then select the action "assign it to the _____ Category". You can use an existing category, or create a new one and assign a color to it. Once a message is assigned to a specific category, outlook will display a color-coded square next to the email.

I actually finally found the conditional formatting that lets me put in key words. They already have use category for other things so had to come up with a different solution..

Conditional formatting works great, now im working on publishing it so everything in the firm can do a drop down and use the view or not.

thanks
