I'm having a strange problem at work with Outlook '97. In the past, incoming emails have always come through instantaneously into my Inbox, especially those from within the company. But now emails do not appear until I start clicking around within Outlook, almost like I need to "wake it up".
For example, someone sends me an email. I wait several minutes and nothing happens. Then I click an old email message, and instantly the new email comes through and the notification pops up that I have received a new message. If I do not touch my PC, it can be 30 minutes or more before the email comes through.
This only started happening within the past couple days. Nobody else at work is, or has experienced the problem. Any suggestions?
