Outlook 2013 and web browser email behaviour

Hi,

Is it possible to have emails to remain, marked as read, on web browser when obtained via Outlook 2013.

I don't want them to downloaded again on another platform once my Outlook gets them.

Is it possible and if so how please?

Thanks

How are you receiving your emails now? Sounds like you are wanting to make the transition from pop to imap, but maybe I am misreading your question.

I receive emails on my iPhone which I at times I resond to and also in Outlook 2013 on my pc, which is where I file and store.

I look on iPhone and Outlook, then save on pc.

Hey there,

Did u get my response?

I'm still not sure if it's possible to. Have an email marked as read once uploaded in to Outlook 2013.

Personally, when I have read emails on laptop, they are marked as read when I see them on my phone. And vice versa. This is because I use IMAP to retreive my email from both, as pop will download them and removed them from the mail server.

OK great that makes.

I want to only have to download for Outlook 2013 yet keep copy on server.

So if obtained on iPhone, thy'll lso get downloaded to O'k.

If obtained in O'k they will not also get to iPhone.

Does this make sense and if so are u aware how to set this up in Outlook by chance?

Cheers,
