Outlook 2007?

Outlook 2003 on my current system (XP Pro) takes 2-3 seconds to render html messages, which is ridiculous. I assume a format would fix that, however, I'm about to build a new quad core system and will be moving to Vista Business 64-bit.

Would Outlook 2007 be an improvement, or should I stick with 2003? I want e-mails to be rendered instantaneously, and Outlook 2003 has never been able to do that for me.

I had some trepidation about upgrading. I have never looked back! Not sure if it will solve your precise issue, but I belive it does not matter. It represents state of the art software and is a pleasure and a delight to use. Happy 2008! Dave

I love Outlook 2007!

So, you're saying that if you opened, say, yahoo.com, in Outlook, that 2-3 seconds to do that is ridiculous? How long would it take to render in your browser?

Are you talking about emails with text only, HTML emails with graphics, or exactly what?

I suggest simply downloading the free trialware and trying it out firsthand.
