Hello

I got lots of email of clients and I keep the outlook data files separated by years to avoid large size in single file and it helps to avoid crash and loose all your valuable data.. Now after regular intervals I usually format my pc to keep it healthly.. mostly I keep my all data in other drive than C: drive to avoid backups at the time of format.. The small problem here is this.. let's say when you compose new mail in outlook, if you have used that email address before.. outlook will auto complete it for you.. that will be easy when you have to write lots of mail to some regular clients.. the problem is after format i loose this functionality and i have to write first mail by entering their email address.. this could be problem where there are lots of unique email address of client.. is there any solution i can take backup of such auto complete facility of outlook and when i restore all mail i can restore this auto complete facility.. this small help could save lots of hours...

Thank you and have a nice time

warm regards
Gareth

The .NK2 file is a cache of email addresses that were originally typed in the To: bar in Outlook. When you move to a new PC, you can move the old .NK2 file to the new PC and you will see the old autocomplete address cache. It works fine. I do this all the time.
