Outlook 2003 - one user suddenly suddenly cannot access mailbox, please help

When one user tries to run Outlook, this error comes up:

outlook.ost cannot be accessed because it has been configured for use with a different mailbox

It won't even let me get into Outlook to check settings because when I fail to browse to the file, it closes Outlook. Why is this happening? How to resolve?
