I have two users who get the error message: "Error while archiving folder "Inbox" in Store "Mailbox - [User's Mailbox]". The item is currently being scanned for viruses. Try again in a few moments. The users are using Outlook 2003 and the server(s) is running Norton Antivirus. I have been unable to find any solution on the internet by googling keywords in the error message, and Microsoft's knowledge base has provided no clues. I also don't see any settings that seem relevant within the Outlook account and program configuration options. I can't mess with the anti-virus software running on the exchange server, and not every user has this problem. I personally do not get any error message, but my mailbox is on a different Exchange server.
Some other info:
Exchange Cached mode is off,
The archive PST file is being stored in the default location (in \Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Outlook or whatever)
Problem occurs both with auto and manual archiving at different times in the day
Does anyone here have any ideas?
