Outlook 2002 - How do you download NEW mail only?

Click on Tool, Accounts and select your mail account and click on Properties.....the last tab should be Advanced.....deselect the "Leave a copy messages on server."

I am pretty sure this is what you want to do, or you will always get the same and any new mail from your server, depending on the number of days you have selected to keep mail on your server. I hope this helps.

no, I want to keep it on server until I get home.
If I deselect it, it will download all my home mail at work.

In the old Outlook there was a setting to download only new mail.
Once you downloaded it once and deleted it (although it was still on the server) it would not download again.
