I have only noticed this on outlook 2002 (XP).
We recently did an upgrade to SAV corporate 10.1.6000, and ever since some of the machines are comming back and giving a prompt:

A program is trying to access your address book........this program may cantain viruses......
Allow?
Yes No Cancel (Rembember for x Minutes)

I know that the only thing that has changed on the machines is the new SAV that we rolled out. I have disabled the AV plugin in OL, disabled the scanning of the Cache file, disable everything except the Auto protect on SAV. I disabled the auto protect once but didn't fix it.

Is there a fix for this?

This is from Office XP SP3. There are fixes available. Basically Microsofts security is so tight it can't even trust it's own applications. Google the error and you will find a program that will always answer yes to this prompt. To my knowledge Microsoft never fixed the issue.

All machines are up to date with office.
Since this is just starting to happen on machines with the new Corp SAV, and I have disabled lots of things. I think that it just might be adobe acrobat (PDF creater) that monitors the addy book and the new SAV is making this pop up somehow.
