OUTLOOK 2000

Hi

We have just moved over from cc:mail to Exchange but we are having many problems with Outlook 2000. Some of our users (not all) have experience of their Outlook hanging which sometimes affects other programs.

We run Outlook on NT4 Workstation mainly using Dell PCs (G1, G110)with 64Mb of memory. Someone told me that this might not be enough to run Outlook 2000.

Has anyone else had these problems ? and if so what did they try to rectify the problem.

Thanks

David

Are they hanging doing any particular tasks, getting particular types of email, have a different setup than other users? What procs are on the dells? Have you tried applying Office SR-1? What service pack are the NT4 workstations up to? Are you using an Exchange server, IMAP, pop3? More info is always more helpful if you want to get an answer...

I wouldn't take any more advice from that person, since they obviously haven't a clue.

Otherwise, what Ladi said...
