Outlook 2000 Question

I need to review several e-mails that have already been archived 2 months ago. How do I view the e-amil? Thank you in advance.

DEpends on where they have been archive to. To find out where they have been archived to: open outlook, click tools, options, then hit the other tab, and click on autoarchive, take a look at what file is listed there. It should be something like x:\archive.pst. Then what you do is then click tools services, click on add, personal folders, and type in the location of that .pst file. and click okay, it should open up that folder in your default folders and then find the emails you want to restore. Assuming the archive files aren't periodically cleared, they should be there.

Thanks Burin Guy, I'm having trouble understanding how to complete the second task, as I have no services button. Can you elaborate a little more please? Thanks you

In Outlook on the Tools drop down menu there should be a Services option, no?

You could always do a File~Open~Personal Folders File and go to the archive.pst file if you know where the file is located (step 1)
