Outlook 2000 how do I remove duplicate emails?

I just imported 3 years of emails (3500 messages) into the same folder twice (don't ask!) Now i have 7000 entries Is there a way to check for and delete duplicate emails?

You can always sort 'em by subject and select all the same ones for deletion.
 
Good suggestion Fellow Tucsonan.... But I have been doing that and it is time consuming... Is there a utility that does that?
