Outlook 2000 doesn't save sent messages on proper server / Outlook 2k replacement?

Anyone have any clues? Using Outlook 2000, with a couple of IMAP servers.

When I send a message, Outlook 2000 doesn't put it in the "Sent Items" folder on the imap server of the account I was sending from. It puts it into the common, local "Sent Items" folder instead.

While we're at it, any suggestions for a Outlook 2000 replacement that syncs with Palm?
