hi quick urgent question please... at my dads office he has office 2002 on his computer and his secretary has office 2000 and i was wondering whether there is any way for her to view his contacts and calendars etc?

i already imported the stuff but its a hassle to do every time specially since the calendar stuff changes on a daily basis...
i know its not ideal to have 2 different outlook versions but im sure this shouldnt be a problem seeing as 2000 should have this kind of features.

any help greatly appreciated!

thanks a bunch!

Netfolders is built into 2000, but it sucks so much they took it out of XP. Don't even touch it.
If his org has >10 people, they really should be running some sort of groupware or mailserver, like Exchange.
Otherwise, check out WorkgroupShare.

Right click what you want to share, select properties, then permission. Add the user name of the person you want to share with.
Then that person right clicks on their Outlook Today folder, selects open, other users folder.

If you are on an exchange server here are the instructions:

1.) Right click on your dads mailbox within outlook, go to permissions, and add the secretary to have whatever permissions you want her to have.

2.) On the secretary's outlook, go to Email Accounts, view change email accounts, double click on her account, then go to "more settings" then to "advanced" and add your dad's email account. Then you can configure what you want her to see etc.

That should be it.
