I'm leaving for Hawaii on June 7th and I'm bringing my laptop with me. Everything is great, and I'm totally ready to go, but the flight to and from will be miserable if I can't use my laptop. I've got a gaming notebook with a battery life of a whopping 1 hour and 45 minutes, and it takes MUCH longer to fly to Hawaii. So, my question for you plane savy individuals is this: are there outlets in planes? Thanks!

Not in coach. I've got a solution that I'll be testing though... an auto adapter and a wheelchair(like) battery. Ought to keep me going.

that also saves you on any other flights you might take in the future that you would consider taking your laptop on. plus, its always good to have a spare.

Then you havn't flown internationally ;)

I, for one, know that Singapore Airlines has it on Business and First, and Cathay Pacific has it in Business

interesting...you know, you'd think more airlines would offer power ports for long-distance flights.
