I've always wanted to get all of the disks of Outlaw Star, but there were 3 of them, and they were like $26 each. And they were hard to find as well. While roaming around at Best Buy, I found the entire series in a single box for $40. All 6 disks, no insert or anything in the DVD case though. Still a good deal for those looking for some good anime.

Not to thread crap, but you can get it for a little cheaper from Newegg. That said, Outlaw Star is a great show. :)

I haven't seen much anime, although I watched the eps of cowboy bebop and liked them. Is it anything like that?

Actually, quite a bit like that. "Outlaw Star has a bit more variety than Cowboy Bebop" -- my wife, who is watching all of them now.

Well what do you reccomend for someone who watched Cowboy Bebop and liked it? (I've seen almost no other anime). I'm thinking I'll give outlaw star a try, but I certainly wont turn down other reccomendations

I would recommend Neon Genesis Evangelion and Rurouni Kenshin. Love both of those shows, plus Cowboy Bebop. Currently watching Trigun. Seems pretty good too.

If you have Cartoon Network, you can catch Evangelion and Trigun on Adult Swim.

Outlaw star if it wasn't for the incredibly abrupt (and IMHO, bad) ending. Could have gotten another season (26 episodes) easily.
