Outdoor control of stereo - help

I recently installed two outdoor speakers on my patio. These are connected to a receiver that is installed inside my house. It works great but I was wondering if anyone has a good method to control my stereo from my patio. I really don't want to upgrade my receiver, is there a good but inexpensive way to do this? Thanks in advance for any advice.

An extender like above will work or step up to a RF universal like the Harmony 900.
