Ok, so I'm trying to get some jeans. But not just regular jeans. These are "special" jeans.

I've found the ones I want in stores after a few days of searching but they were the wrong size.

Hmm, how can I describe them. Well, there are two pairs.

The first one I saw was made by Calvin Klein, dark indigo which fades to a tan color in the front (maybe some in the back too, don't remember).

The other one I saw was made by Guess, dark indigo which fades to white in the front and a bit in the back.

Seems like these aren't too common and I still can't find them anywhere. Need 33-34x30 (32 length is maximum).

Looking not to spend over $30-40 shipped.

Any good places online where I can find what i'm looking for? I'm in Cincinnati, OH if that matters any.

why buy faded jeans when you can just buy some old jeans, fade em yourself, and give the money you saved to someone who can't afford jeans?

true.. why fade jeans at all? it looks kinda stupid IMO. too girly. (no offense, i'm sure the ones you're talking about are very nice)

ck.com doesn't work

Guess runs jeans for $50-100, too much IMO.

They look KINDA like this and this.

How do I fade them anyway? To the color I want?

fading them yourself is actually a bad idea, unless you just wear them for yaers to wear them in.. other than that, you need something like a sand blaster (whihc is how they do it, i believe) or you can bleach them-- that kills the fabric though.

doesnt Jcpenny carry CK jeans pretty cheap?

well i guess fading em to that effect will be kinda hard...

but $50 is too much, jeans should be $25-$35

I also don't reccomend you buy them online, go try em out first in a b&m (robinson's may, macys)

edit: i'm an idiot

well the department store sites usually don't reflect whats in the b&m inventory, they sell nautica polos for $50 online, me gets one on sale at b&m for $20...

Did you check outlet stores? DO you absolutely need that style?

$50 is like the norm for anything other than regular loose fit stonewash. I'd try the Gap since you are probably looking for Antique/Rustic/Faded jeans. If you're looking for a bargain, you should find decent jeans at a Polo outlet. Use this to find one near you.

If you live in a city of any decent size, don't buy jeans on line. The only way to buy jeans you know will fit is to try them on. You can try on twenty pairs of the same brand and size, and they could all fit differently. This is even more true wit the same size from different manufacturers.

I forgot to mention that Structure/Express for Men should also have what you are looking for. Again, they might not be in your price-range but sometimes they run promotions like Spend $50 and get a 15% off your next purchase or Spend $75 and get $25 off your next purchase - stuff like that. Abercrombie & Fitch is worth a shot as well.

Most likely, Hilfiger and Nautica won't have your style. Calvin Klein and Donna Karen might. Diesel and French Connection (FCUK) definately but expect to pay well over $120. Look for a Guess outlet or regular store, sometimes they have decent sales. There's also a store near me called Bang Bang (official name is Bang Bang Boutique) but I haven't seen or looked for it anywhere else. They have a lot of interesting jeans by lesser-known designers. They are usually priced from $25-$100 depending on style and whatnot.

I'm a pretty big jean freak myself... :)
