go to einsurance.com and submit there you can get a mountain of quotes
This is what I did when unemployed and COBRA ran out.

The retro active COBRA works too.
Also look into any state sponsored coverage (in WI we have what is called "Badger Care"

Been there and done that.
I eventually found one (good news!). It pays 65% of the previous job (bad news!) But its stable (good news!)

check out einsurance and get some quotes through there. It was pretty painless and easy to do. The website is easy to navigate and "shop" at.

I fifth the Kaiser Permanente option. I have them for my insurance, and had them when I was out of work. It was very seamless, and the difference in monthly premiums was about 40/mo. ymmv.
