Out of USB slots. Help please

I have used up the 4 USB slots on the motherboard backplate. I am also out of PCI extension card slots.

Since my motherboard supports 4 more USB via onboard connectors, I would like to know if any company sells computer case extension slot backplates that has USB outlets(Think of it as an USB extension card without the card itself, just the backplate).

That way, I can just use a usb cable to connect the motherboard to the back of the case.

What you can do is get a 4-6 port usb output such as this one. Or there are similar ones that plug into a firewire port, if you have one. What device are you trying to connect?

I have also found a "4port USB 2.0Connect backplate" from Amazon, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00015Y0FK/. Do most people just use a USB hub instead? Will the usb connection suffer due to the 4in1 connection hub in comparison to a USB backplate?

What kind of things are you plugging into all these ports?

keyboard, mouse, microphone, scanner
need 1/2 moe for printer or usb drive. 4 usb really isn't enough.
