Brings back memories. I don't think I ever beat it.

Great game. I had it on Sega CD and it came with the sequel Heart of the Alien which wasn't as good as the original but still pretty cool. I never did play the recent update on pc nor the 3do version which had redrawn backgrounds.

Flashback and Blackthorne are two more similar games that are good.

Out of this World,one of my top 10 favs of all time.The graphics still look kool today.I think my best run time was around 30 minutes.Heart of the Alien was good,but not as good as the 1st.

Flash back is damn awsome too,right up there with Out of this world.Still have both Snes carts.Snes had the best version of Out of this World,the new music killed the 3DO version.

I usually think of this game when people complain about a modern game being too short."COD 4 was too short,only 14 hours. " Most games today are way too long for there own good and get morbidly repetitive to the point that it now becomes a choir to finish them.

Before I knew how to pass every part ,this game did make me want to slit my rists on several occasions.As much as I love it,it was probably the must frustrating game I had ever played.

Heh, they remade this for gameboy advance and released the rom for free. Played it during class my senior year in high school when I had nothing better to do (I had a 32MB gba flash cart). It was pretty cool to beat.
