I think it depends on your relationship, how it ended, and who ended it. For me with one gal it was out of sight, out of mind, and it transitioned to absence makes the heart grows fonder, and with another gal, it's out of sight, out of mind, forever

why? cause the latter gal was a psycho and the former gal had (and still has) a really good heart.
