Out of scan range?

I have a Sony CPD 420GS monitor running on an ASUS GF4 on XP. I usually run my desktop in 1152x864. The monitor has worked fine this way for years, first in 98 and now XP. It was working fine today also until I rebooted (I hadn't changed any settings) and my monitor gave me an out of scan range (rear input) error message. I've switched back to 800x600 until I can figure out what the problem is. Any ideas anyone?
 
NM, for some reason ReForce decided it wanted to try and enter 1152x864 at 120hz even though I hadn't changed it's settings in weeks. Resetting the proggie worked, things seem to be back to normal.
