Is there any way to go through all your bookmarks and see which ones are no longer valid?

It would be nice to be able to easily sort through them in that way...

Probably one at a time. AFAIK, human eyes are the only way to tell if they're valid. An automated process might be able to tell if the page is live, but it could be a parked page, or something else altogether. Do 10 per day, and you'll get then cleaned up fairly quickly.

Let us know how that program deadlink works. It seems by looking at the website that it checks the URL but it does not auto delete them. Which is how it should be done. And personally, if I do try it, I will backup my Bookmarks (in whatever or all browsers) before I run that program, just in case it screws everything up. I know I have about 15 or 20 dead links in mine for sure.

I am sure that there is a Chrome version of the Firefox plugin Bookmark Duplicate Detector which will ping pages in your bookmarks and mark the ones that do not respond within a set time. It may not show you dead webpages within a site (say a old news story on nytimes.com) but it will inform you if the site is no longer there.

I am not sure if the Firefox version has this ability.
