"Out of Country" Tuition?

Anybody ever leave the country for college for more than just a quarter "studying abroad"? I'm curious as to how tuition would work if youm oved there on a student visa(just saying in general). I know how here there's out of state tuition and its ridiculously priced, is there something similar in other countries? Any of you have done this personally and have some experience for me?

Yes, it's expensive.
Many places have national tuition fees and international fees for overseas students.
The UK charges £1200 or £3000 for residents of the UK, but universities charge variable fees for overseas students, depending on course etc, from £9000 and up.
(Not done it personally, but I am at a UK university with quite a lot of international students)
 
you should just go to a local university and do their study abroad program.. that way, you're paying the same tuition as you would if you stayed in the states going to that college and learning/living/experiencing [ing] another country..
 
I wish that was the case but its not. I've been going locally for about 2 years worth now, and just for tuition and fees(atheltics, new buildings and crap) its about $1750 a quarter. Most anywhere in Europe or Austrailia they are asking for $10K plus, usually its about $6-7k in tuition, the other portion is housing, airfare and food.
 
England, Germany, Italy will probably be expensive..Iraq, Sudan, and where that movie Hostel was based on..probably not as much.
 
Haha, I don't have anything horribly specific in mind, for the most part nothing in the Americas, shooting for Europe or possible the Carribean. Countries dominant language wouldn't necessarily have to be English as long as there are some classes in it(I'd be coming to learn, and learning in a foreign language is a little beyond me). I used to speak pretty good spanish and living in a culture would refresh my memory and make me pretty fluent atleast 😀
