Right on time with this post .... needed some new wallpaper! ;)
My thought exactly. In fact Exterous's photos of his trip to Canadian Rockies have been my wallpaper for a few years now. He's a GENIUS with a camera! I also downloaded his trip to Peru etc. Gonna download these and HOPE it helps to inspire me to finally use my passport and extensive luggage collection. Dang pandemic put a kink in my ambitions to see the world. :(

AFAIK, there's a new travel ban to Europe from America what with our awful vax rates here and the Delta variant. :( :( :(

Thanks for the nice comments! Although the destinations provide some good material to work with.

I think the ban is only for the unvacinated but the rules are heading in the more restricted direction. I think we got a bit lucky with the window and I'm not planning anything else internationally until next summer

At the bottom of the article:

“The grindadráp is a barbaric relic of a bygone age. A needless hunt of hundreds of pilot whales and dolphins which should have ended a century ago which is not needed to feed anyone on the islands”

Also noted is the contamination of the kills by virtue of various toxins, so unwholesome for consumption.
