Our trip to Europe this winter!

as of now I have it set up like this :

Frankfurt->Munich->Prague->EMPTY->London

the empty area is Jan 1st to Jan 3rd/4th. then we go to London for 2-3 days , then home! We have been to London before, so 2-3 days is enough, we just want to go shopping there and pick up some neato stuff.

I was thinking fly into Athens from prague, fly out of athens to London...or maybe fly from prague to either poland, or amsterdam.

I was thinking of maybe somewhere more 'retreaty' where we can relax and enjoy some snow in the mountains? Or on the beach in Athens??

Its really up in the air....budget is somewhat of a concern for those few days. I dont want to end up spending a few grand alone there...haha.

SO--where have you guys gone to Europe that you REALLY enjoyed/romanticishly, because me and the GF are going, and if it feels right I may end up asking her to marry me...ha.

Amsterdam is awesome... unless you're going with family. Then it's just awkward. And I don't recommend shrooms if you haven't done them before...

And it's only a 45 minute trip to london via plane.

then at least go for the great scenery (canal rides), the argentinian steakhouses and the magic of FEBO: stores that are just huge vending machines with a front door. literally.

also, the red light district is.....interesting.

I heard canal rides are neat, kind of like venice?

What else have you seen or not seen in Europe? My first choice would be Innsbruck, especially if coming from Munich (München) since it's a very easy trip. If you're looking for a budget destination, then Budapest might fit the bill (plus, RyanAir flys there). Ljubljana might also be a good choice.

Also, I don't understand how you set up your itinerary. You're flying into Athens from Prague, then to London? I'm not sure if that makes sense...
