Well, nobody really wants to become a PICA-member: PICA (posterior inferior cerebellar artery syndrome) is a rare disease which really disables a person ... for quite a long time.
Then of course we have the less rare pica-disorder ... which is the eating of non-nutritious substances.
IIRC one such person ate a whole Boeing 747 (Guiness Book of World Records some 10 - 15 years ago) ... it took some time, but down it went.
Then there is that book ...
