After 9 days our new Sprint phones finally got here. For the last phone we got years ago we just changed the phone's serial number on the web page, now Google only came up with:

"The only way to do the upgrade in the stores is to actually do an ESN swap and then put a code on the account that says 24+HUP36ACTFEE. Without that code, no discount actually applies so it must be added and immediately gives the 36 dollar act. fee."

Any ideas?

They've never charged me and if I find out they do I'm dumping those bastards' services.

I usually buy my phone from eBay because they cost so much at authorized places, even the used ones. They've been ripping me off and I've complained and sent me through retention.

I've always said fvck Sprint.... when my contract ends I'm done with them.

How? Dial *2 or on the web. The Sprint website for my account is different than when we did it the last time.

Thanks in advance

Yea we got them activated, but now Sprint in jerking me around about Sprint Power Vision. Is Sprint Power Vision required for basic Text Messaging? Too many stupid names for options.

No.

They want to sell you a package of options or at least encourage you to purchase some options.

I have basic Text msgs for my daughters phone at 100 msgs for $5.
No other fancy service.

100 msgs for $5. Ouch, our rates are 500 texts for $8. I think you are right on the "sell you a package". Looks like they are calling their crappy streaming TV service "Sprint Power Vision".

I am not sure what basic camera phone service is called or costs.

For the record, power vision is not their streaming tv.

And also, their streaming tv works very well. NFL TV is awesome as well.

I will give up my extra text minutes for the 28% discount on the family plan that we have.

Hopefully everything is worked out. I got an LG LX150 and my wife got an LG Fusic. She is busy cliping mp3s for her own ringtones.
