Our new place comes with free pvssy!!!!

My son and I are moving into this townhome in the town my parents live in....better schools over there for him....anyway, tonight I'm dropping off some stuff and I see to small shapes under the car parked a few spots over.

A closer look reveals two tiny tiny kitty cats. Now, I'm not one to go all gooey over cute little fuzzy things, but these guys were adorable.....yes, I said adorable.

They didn't run away initially, but as I edged closer you could tell they didn't like that so they eventually bolted and actually hid behind a bush next to my front door about twenty feet away.

Now I figured as I moved stuff in and out they'd flee from that spot as well, but they didn't. They just sat, hidden behind the bush, peeking out around the side to watch me go in and out.

I tried one more time to get them to come to me and this time I saw a third cat about twice the size of the other two but still very much a kitten.

So after unloading everything I went down to the local gas station and bought a box of cat chow. When I got back the three of them were chilling on my front porch. I walked up to the edge, poured out the food onto a plate and got back in the truck.

They must have circled that plate at least ten times scoping it out and then looking back to me in my 4runner. They finally started eating and I left.

This new place only allows one pet under 25lbs. Should I catch them, keep one, and take the rest to a shelter? Or just feed them and leave them as outside cats?

BTW, it's a $300 deposit for a pet too and though I love cats (and I'm a dog person, go figure) I don't know if I'm ready for the sheding, clawing, vet visits, litterbox cleaning, etc....

Help me decide what to do ATOT!!!

Cliffs:

Our new townhome is infested with cute little kittens, please don't kill them!

I didn't have my cam, but I'll try to get pics tomorrow.

IMO, its not worth $300 to deal with the issues you mentioned. It would probably cost more than $300 anyway, cus you'd want to get the one you keep checked out by a vet.

My parents cat is an indoor/outdoor cat. She usually sleeps with them at night but chills outside during the day. She usually comes in and out during the day depending on if she's hungry or it's hot or raining outside. The good thing is she uses the bathroom outside so they almost never have to clean the litterbox.
