We are gang, all of us, which will be recorded in history as a "new age" - a movement beyond what has been recorded past - meaning a society (world wide) with the ability to hear everything at a moments notice, yet we carry over all of the baggage and pains of our past...

Has the Tower of Babel been made new?

Just because it's new, doesn't mean it's better.

Correct. We're living longer, but not necessarily better. We just haven't evolved to live in this kind of society and it will be interesting how people respond.

(Already we see the dark side with people like Craig, for example. Lately he's tried to pass himself off as a reporter of some sort. How else can his ego survive in a world where celebrities and bloggers are the centers of attention? He's delusional and completely separated from reality even though he has more information at his fingertips at his disposal than people of sounder judgment in past generations.)

I'm not. Try to pay attention. He's an example of how people aren't adapted to this new society. (Sorry but humans don't evolve that quickly.) Not only do people carry their old baggage as you say, but even the posters on this forum show that there's not much harmony coming out of this twitter age... You just see knee-jerk bickering in response to random sources of information that doesn't get us anywhere.

PS What is with your silly forward slashes?

What it entails? Pick a topic...

Everything from personal choices and opportunities to social norms to how the state and federal government is organized and makes decisions to the nature of sovereignty, world economy, and international security.

The information/communication paradigm shift has changed everything.

It's STILL shifting. The world will (end of this decade) be a place where every human is also their own personal 'CCTV' (think UK), thanks to their mobile device.

Imagine the government's security camera apparatus privatized, everywhere, and doesn't cost them a dime to run and maintain.

Everyone is an expert on something; even the inbred white trash that claims they are the superior race and they alone should decide who lives or dies.
