Why does everyone who is opposed to our country's politcal actions always still support "the troops"? I for one despise our troops, they signed up to go and fight these wars for whatever reason they are started. Therefore, I believe that they are all as guilty and as evil as the polititians who start them. Quit blindly supporting these gestapo types, its time for them to come under fire.

I'm glad my life doesn't consist of making screen names similar to others (in an attempt to deceive)and going around posting flamebait. Of course, it's to be expected of some until they reach a certain maturity level.

You are porbably right. But it is better than sifting through posts to find out who is the original screen name. Those people have NO life!

Umm, the approximate hispanic population of DoD is 7.9% of the total. Thanks for playing, please try again.....

Good call. For one brief second, I thought the real MichaelD might possibly be seriously drunk, outrageously stoned, both, or brainwashed beyond the point of no return.

Thanks for correcting me!
Now, do you have the percentage of latinos among the injured and dead soldiers in Iraq?

As far as I know, DoD hasn't published such statistics.

However, you should be able to make an estimation regarding KIA demographics based on this information

I'm guessing your a teenager, and haven't done anything in your life yet that was self-less and potentially hazardous. To paraphrase Jack Nicholson "you rise and sleep under the blanket of the very freedom these troops provide" The world is a full of unfortunate truths, and one is that we need a military to protect ourselves from our enemies. Without these troops that you "despise" Al Quaeda would still be whole, I'm quite sure more attacks on U.S. citiizens would have taken place. People who put their lives in harms way to protect your freedom deserve our respect and gratitude.
