Our crazy Californian legislators.

I heard on Good Mornign LA that they were trying to outlaw lapdances.

I tuned in halfway through the broadcast so i dont know the reason why....but who the hell would come up with this kinda law?

our taxes at work....

It was illegal here until it was appealed all the way to the Supreme Court. In 1999, the Supreme Court ruled in favour of allowing lap dances. 😀

Boogiman, it's worse than that, CA also wants to put railing aroung the stage and the dancers must be at least 6 feet away from patrons at all times.

We haven't gotten that bad in Texas yet, though a couple of years ago Houston tried to pass legislation that would force dancers to wear identification cards at all times. Now where they going to put those cards when they are in the buff?

really?

here fully nude=no alcohol

After a trip to vegas my freinds and I were trying to formulate a plan in which we'd pool our money and open a place that we'd call

The Skanky Ho - A Gentleman's Club

They were obviously quite intoxicated at thsi point...but i thought it was hilarious 😛

but what exactly is their reasoning for this?

from what i understand it is not CA...its Los Angeles City...

all dancers will have to be 6 feet away at all times...

dont worry its just LA city, not LA county...so places like santa monica will still be fair game....

but still is ridiculus

i dunno... its houston... theres more strip clubs there than anywhere else in the country. maybe they were planning on making money off the ID cards?

because black christians wouldn't be against SOBs either

Really? How many black christians do you know are in office?

I mean there are just TONS of them in Orange County you know. Oh you're in Texas, you have no clue about the City of Anahiem and its surrounding area (Orange County) do you? I'm sorry, how about actually having some knowledge about what you're talking about first.

And I edited it for you. Meant neo-conservative white christians. Hope thats okay for you. Odd though, I always thought people like you hated being politically correct. How ironic.

Neo-Conservative white Christians. Yep, we got em California also...

google serach came up w/ this article

It's happening in Anahiem. Orange County... hehe. 😛

Our situation in Houston had nothing to do with conservatives, in fact it was a Democrat woman who put up the legislation. She went as far as disguising herself and visiting the strip clubs to see what was happening in them.

C'mon now, a democrat in Texas isnt really a democrat. 😉😛 Probably more like a Joe Lieberman. 😛

Okay I honestly have no real clue about Texas and its politics, but I would imagine that its one of those "morally righteous" people who like to impose these personal beliefs on others, regardless of race, religion, or gender. It just so happens though, its often the neo-conservatives that are doing this.

And before any other whiner like ElFenix gets on my case, I'm pretty damn conservative myself alright. But then again, I'm a hippie from California!!!

It was my fault. Last time, I sat too close to the stage and she put her beaver right in front of my face. Being that it was LA and I was alergic to smog, I sneezed and the jerk caused my head to tilt forward. Then my nose got caught between her lips. She tried to sue the company for this event and that prompted all this excitement and is the sole reason for making people stay 6 ft away.

I don't get it...

Why do they want to make it so you can't touch strippers?

On that thought process, why is prostitution illegal? A person should have every right to use their body as they see fit, right?

I mean, I think I should be able to sell myslef to women if they want to pay me for the dick... how can that be wrong?
