Better than term limits: bans on Congress and staff moving into lobbying.

In the last decade IIRC, 400 members and over 3000 staff have made the move.

Now that I'm for. The current revolving door 'policy' in D.C. is absurd and generally not in the interest of the public at large.

It doesn't matter who is in power, (Elected Representatives) until there are clear limits on spending. That's what this all boils down to, right? Spending and taxes. There are no limits on spending or taxes right now, and until then, each and every representative is going to spend and tax.

In Colorado, we have the Tabor Amendment. Every taxing increase has to be voted on by the general public. So far, I don't think any new taxes have passed, and it's been close to 10 years.

The people behind Government are good at heart, almost by definition. Spending without consequence is obviously bad, and a lesson that some are beginning to learn.

But, we the populace need protection from the Governments unlimited spending, and taxation.
